Adorn Your Body With Accessories

Any opportunity to adorn oneself is human, and accessories are an easy way to do it.

Do you have a thing for rings? Not yet? We love the way they add the perfect amount of texture, sparkle or flair to any outfit. Whether they’re plain and simple or detailed and fancy, rings are a great way to showcase your personal style. Layering rings is definitely not about to get out of style, especially for those that are very into dainty jewellery for the fingers. Tiny pieces have a way of keeping heavily decorated hands light.

Look up, laugh loud, talk big, keep the color in your cheek and the fire in your eye, adorn your person, maintain your health, your beauty and your animal spirits.

Same way some are into layering their rings, others have embraced layering their earrings. How do you feel about a statement earring and muted or shiny studs? Mixing pearls with diamanté or real diamonds? There is nothing quite like enjoying the gleam of two well suited crystals together on bright sunny day, looking to catch the light. What about mixing silvers and golds on the same look? Yes or, no?

Statement earrings and statement necklaces each deserve their own moment. I never wear the two together; it looks overdone.

It’s possible to break some of the “classic” rules. If the outfit requires the wearer adorn herself with statement earring & necklace, don’t be afraid to break out of the mould. If your dress shows off an expanse of open back, do turn your necklace over to fall down your back instead. Experiment with shapes and lines. They create interesting moments of negative space with your outfit.

I’ve always thought the back is one of the most beautiful parts of a woman. I’ve created four versions of the front-to-back necklace which actually gives you two necklaces in one. I love the way they swing and catch the light as a woman is walking away. You almost want to pull on it and stop her!
