Afros n’ Mo Twists

Update: Since publishing, Afros & Mo has moved to a bigger place: Level 5, Mukwano Courts on Buganda Rd next to the craft village. Scroll down for detailed contact information!

So when you are told not to judge a book by its cover, please follow said advice. My afro thanked me a lot after our visit to Afros n Mo. Located at shop 294 in Equatorial Mall, the salon at first appearance does not come off fancy. It’s evident that they’ve just made a move and are still getting on their feet.

Exclusiveness!!! That’s what definitely struck out. Right from its name, Afros n’ Mo, such exclusiveness must come with dedication. Being a naturalista, one of my biggest fears is definitely heartless hairdressers, who wield the tools that cause hair breakage.

That said, I did enjoy every bit of my experience at the salon; pleasant hairdresser, an amazing home-made deep conditioner, no hair breakage…yeah and not to forget stunning, shiny results!! My twists and later curls were on FLEEKKK!!

Now that we know what we know, it would definitely be awesome for any naturalista to check it out. I recommend the twist out…..duuh! but if you are looking to do a protective style then definitely go for the crochet braids…..super value for your money. You could as well make Afros n Mo your go-to place for all your hair needs, it will be good for you and your hair as well.

Did I mention how pocket-friendly their prices are? Considering the convenient location in town and their natural-hair friendly products and staff, you’ll never want to go elsewhere. Thank you Maggie for having us!

Hi girl! It’s bound to happen! What happened? Willing to share? It could help them improve their service for future visits.

What do you think?
