For anyone familiar with Korean skincare routines, they’ve come across the idea of masking and using facial sheet masks in particular. For those that haven’t, masking is a great way to invigorate your skin and give it a boost before/after a long day or week. Sheet masks, in particular, are face-shaped sheet fabrics soaked in nutrition-packed solution called serum. A sheet mask is generally used once and it is individually packaged, making them fast, convenient, and easy to use. To learn more about sheet masks, we’ll have a post up soon about why to use masks & how to choose your masks.
Today’s review is on the range of Real Nature Masks from Korean skincare brand – Nature Republic.
The Real Nature Sheet Masks are cotton sheet masks that come in sachet packaging that has realistic images of the key ingredient of the mask. The ingredients list and usage instructions are found at the back of the sachet.

The masks have cut-outs for the eyes, nose and mouth so it’s easy to adjust to different face shapes. Smaller faces might suffer from it being too big but, it’s easy to fold or tear a bit off. The serum is designed to be left on the skin and it will soak straight into the skin leaving your face dewy so if you have oil skin, you might have to splash some water on and air-dry before applying your moisturizer. These masks are perfect for rejuvenating the skin without a trip to the beautician or spa. You must note though that these work like the serum step in Korean skincare routine, they aren’t meant to deep cleanse or exfoliate your skin. Some like the acai berry, royal jelly and shea butter are extremely rich & creamy and others like cucumber, aloe, rose and green tea are lighter and clear. Refrigerating your mask before use makes it that much better as it can help calm down puffy skin.
